About us
Four decades of caring for Betawi & archipelago culture.
Sanggar Wahana Cipta was founded on December 21, 1985 in Jakarta by Mrs. Murni Handayani — starting as home dance lessons for 22 children. Today we are a touring folk dance and music group led by the second generation.
Our mission is simple: introduce Indonesian culture to the world and build good relationships across cultures — starting from our studio in Pasar Minggu.
